By Car

The Pantiles is just off of the main road (A26/ London Road) which runs through the town and there are many car parks to choose from. Below are a selection of the nearest ones:

1-5min walk:
Upper Pantiles Car Park: Major York's Rd, Tunbridge Wells TN2 5TP

By Foot

From the Tunbridge Wells Railway Station:
Tunbridge Wells Station has two exits, one on each side of the track – one lower exit on Platform 1 via the ticket office into the station car park and one upper exit via the stairs on Platform 2 onto the high street.

Platform 1 exit:
Leave the platform through the ticket office and cross over the car park road towards The Range. Turn left and head south on Vale Road.

Use the Zebra crossing to cross onto the southbound side of the road, just before the junction with London Road. Keep heading south on London Road. As you approach the roundabout, The Pantiles is directly ahead of you. Use the pedestrian crossing on Frant Road to access The Pantiles.

Platform 2 exit:
Take the stairs up to the exit and turn right onto the high street. Head south (down hill) on Vale Road. Walk past the station car park and The Range on your right.

Use the Zebra crossing to cross onto the southbound side of the road, just before the junction with London Road. Keep heading south on London Road. As you approach the roundabout, The Pantiles is directly ahead of you. Use the pedestrian crossing on Frant Road to access The Pantiles.

By Train

From London:
Regular direct services from London Cannon Street (CST), London Charing Cross (CHX), London Bridge (LBG) stations to Tunbridge Wells (TBW) run regularly throughout the day and take approximately 55 minutes. The Pantiles is an easy 10 minute walk downhill from Tunbridge Wells Station.

From Hastings:
Regular direct services from Hastings (HGS) run throughout the day and take approximately 50 minutes.

By Bus

Tunbridge Wells Services:
222, 228, 229, 230, 231, 281 & 282 all stop outside the Pantiles on London Road

From London:
Line 786 from Cannon Street Station goes directly to the Pantiles and takes approximately 1hr 40 mins. Lines 788 can also be taken from Cannon Street Station to Mount Ephraim Road in Tunbridge Wells (the Pantiles is then a 13 minute walk via London Road)

From Brighton:
The Regency Route 28, 29 and 29X go direct from Brighton, Old Steine (Royal Pavilion) Station to the Pantiles and take approximately 1hr 40 mins.
